Style Hint: Lose the Lint

Here’s a common scenario: It’s the morning of a big business meeting. You shower, dry off with a bath towel, put on your best suit, the power shoes, stride in to save the company and . . . spot a bit of towel lint on your jacket. And a towel thread on your sleeve. Suddenly, your power suit is looking more like a powder puff.

It’s easy to think you might need more expensive, luxury bath towels. Surely they won’t shed. But price isn’t the issue, construction is. The longer loops on traditional terry towels tend to get pulled, come loose, and tend to glue themselves to the nearest piece of clothing. They also have a habit of collecting bits of lint from other cloth items in the home.

To battle lint, you could make a lint roller a part of your morning routine. But who needs one more thing to do before racing out the door? Better idea: seek out towels that don’t generate lint. That’s where microfiber comes into play. The lower-pile, tightly woven loops stay on the towel and off of you. Did we mention that our Performance Towels are made of a microfiber that’s not only highly absorbent, but lint free? Hint, hint.
