Because we're obsessed with innovation around here, we're in love with this New York Times initiative that's gathering the little innovations we all add to our daily routines and running them past a panel of judges to select the best. Right now there's everything from photographing a whiteboard shopping list to save paper to this idea for a fruit slicer that cuts apples into shapes that can scoop toppings.
