The Microdry product design team was busy this past spring creating new items for our beach, kitchen and bath collections, so this past weekend it was time for the marketing crew to get down to business and shoot photos and video of the new products for use in packaging and advertising. Because we had to shoot such a diverse range of product, we needed a space with a kitchen, bath and a beach. While a beach house would have been nice, we opted for a Brooklyn photography studio where we could build each setting. Yes, we built a beach. Using sand imported from Long Island and a lot of brooms, we made a cute little shoreline where our models could stretch out with our forthcoming beach towels. Our models included a man, woman and delightful little boy who loved playing on our faux beach and dancing on the bath mats during the video shoot. We gave each of them mats, towels and more at the end of the day.
